Kibbled peanuts are ideal for feeding during the breeding season and adding to a seed mix for that additional energy booster.
A great alternative to full peanuts and with the added advantage of being able to feed all year round from the ground or a bird table.
Strangely, feedback from our customers suggests that kibbled peanuts are consumed with even more vigour than normal peanuts, and are certainly worth trying if your visiting birds are reluctant to take whole peanuts. Try them and see which suits you (or more to the point your feathered friends).

Hazel Stockdale Birds must enjoy the kibbled peanuts as they disappear quickly from the bird table. I am thinking of trying them in the peanut feeder too.

I've noticed many more bird varieties in my garden, too, which is thrilling!
I also purchased food for the local lake birds, and they love it!

A Safe Way To Feed Peanuts During The Spring & Summer
Peanuts have always been one of the most popular bird foods. But during the breeding season when chicks are being fed by their parents, feeding peanuts loose on a bird table or on the ground can be potentially fatal to these young chicks. Parent birds have been known to feed a whole peanut to their chick in the nest. A whole peanut to many chicks is far too large for them to swallow and therefore chokes the chick. Kibbled Peanuts are a great way around this hazardous problem. Due to them being chopped into smaller beak-sized pieces these peanuts are now safe to be fed to a young chick without the risk of it choking. So PLEASE, if you ever feed peanuts loose during the breeding season choose to feed Kibbled Peanuts over whole Peanuts.
