Our Gala Wildlife Rewards tab can be found in the bottom left of any page on our website. It is a small button, filled orange with the title 'Rewards' and a small present icon. If you click on this orange button our Gala Wildlife Rewards tab will open upon the current web page you are on. 

Within this tab you can manage and view all your rewards information. This includes your points balance, how to earn points, what you can redeem points for, the rewards you have redeemed, our referral program and our reward tiers system. I will be explaining each of these parts on this page.

Before I go through exactly how to start earning points on our website, I will first explain our points system currency, feathers. Feathers are essentially points. They are what you earn to redeem rewards. It's our way of tying our rewards system into what our business is about... Wildlife... In particular feeding wild birds. Up to now I have been describing them as points but from now on I will be calling them feathers as this what you will see them called when going through our Gala Wildlife Rewards tab.

To start earning rewards you first must create an account on our website. If you have already created an account on our website, then all you need to do is sign in to your account to automatically start earning feathers when placing an order. If you have yet to create an account on our website, then this can be easily done through our rewards tab. By clicking on the button labelled 'Join' you will be redirected to our create an account page on our website. Fill in your name, email and a password to create an account. Once you have completed that you will be ready to start earning feather on our website. 

It is advised that you sign in to your account before placing an order to ensure your feathers are credited to the correct account. Using a different email, name, address or phone number can cause the rewards system to credit the feathers to a new account using those different details. 

For creating an account or signing into your existing account you will be rewarded with 100 feathers as a welcome gift from us. This is a one time reward however.

Now that you have set up an account you are ready to start earning feathers on our website. There are 4 ways you can earn feathers on our website. 

Placing an order on our website - This is the main way you can earn feathers to gain access to rewards. For every order you place you will be rewarded feathers. The amount of feathers earned for each order depends on the value of your order. For each £1 spent you will be rewarded 10 feathers. So, for placing an order worth £25 for example, you will have earned 250 feathers. There is no minimum or maximum feathers you can earn for each order. 

Reviewing a product - We really appreciate any feedback we get about our products and service. By submitting a review, not only are you helping us see where we did well and where we need improvement, but you are also assisting other shoppers on our website decide whether that product is right for their wildlife. To show our appreciation for you taking the time to review a product we are now rewarding each review with 50 feathers. Terms and conditions apply.

Liking our Facebook page - We love to keep in touch with our customers. Informing them of recent offers, new products or news about our business, as well as sharing fun facts about wildlife and hearing about the different wildlife our customers are managing to attract to their garden and the interesting stories they can share with us. The best way of doing that in this modern world is through Facebook. So, to help encourage you to follow our Facebook page and get involved with the things we post we offer a 50 feathers reward to your account when you like our Facebook page. This is a great way of you helping us to grow our business and reach new customers.

A birthday gift from us - Here at Gala Wildlife we want to help celebrate your birthday and hand you a special birthday gift from us for being such an awesome customer! If you enter your date of birthday to your account, we will gift you a huge 200 feathers on the day of your birthday! Please note that your birthday information must be submitted at least 30 days before the date of your birthday to get the reward. If your birthday is within 30 days of the day you submitted your information you will be rewarded the gift the following year's birthday. 

To earn feathers from a couple of these methods above you will need to follow these instructions.

• To receive 50 feathers from submitting a review you first must receive an email from us requesting you to review up to 3 of the products you have recently purchased. These emails will be sent 10 days after your order was fulfilled and will only ask you to review products you have not previously reviewed. By following the link on the email, you will be able to review that product. Once your review has been submitted you will receive your 50 feathers generally within 3 days of the submission date (please note this is a manual reward in which me, the admin, must add feathers to your account, so please may I ask for your patience in receiving this reward to your feathers account). • To earn 50 feathers from liking our Facebook page you will need to open up the Gala Wildlife Rewards tab. From there, click 'Earn Feathers'. Within the 'Earn Feathers' page you will see a list of the different ways you can earn feathers. You must then click the button labelled 'Like on Facebook'. From there, you will be redirected to our Facebook page. If you then 'Like' our page and return back to our website, you will have been rewarded 50 feathers. If you have already liked our page prior to this, just click the button to our Facebook page then return to our website and you will automatically have been rewarded 50 feathers. This is a one time reward and cannot be repeated.
• To add your birthday to your account you must also open up our Gala Wildlife Rewards tab and open the page titled 'Earn Points'. Within there, you will see a button labelled 'Happy Birthday'. Click that button to open up a page where you can enter and submit your date of birth. By submitting your birthday, you can then earn the 200 feathers gift on the day of your birthday.

To make our rewards system as simple as possible we have now changed our rewards to the money off option only. Receiving free products as a reward had its complications, such as free products being out of stock or price increases of products rendering products no longer free. Therefore, the only reward for feathers now is to receive money off your order. However, there is a variety of money off options to choose from.

Money off your order - Of course the main use for feathers is to redeem them to get money off your next order, therefore rewarding loyal customers with cheaper products. There are now three options to choose from when redeeming feathers for money off your order. You can choose to redeem 500, 1000, or 2000 feathers to receive £2, £5, or £10 off your order respectively. It is important to note that there is a minimum spend to receive these discounts on your order. If you wish to receive £2 off your order, then the order this discount is applied to must total a minimum of £15 before the discount is applied. To receive £5 off the order must be a minimum of £25, and for £10 off the order must be a minimum of £50. Trying to apply these discount codes to orders not reaching the minimum value will result in the codes failing to discount any money off your order.

Bullet-pointed below are the available rewards and their cost in feathers.

• Redeem 500 feathers - Receive £2 off order over £15
• Redeem 1000 feathers - Receive £5 off order over £25
• Redeem 2000 feathers - Receive £10 off order over £50

If you have managed to accumulate a number of feathers you may wish to trade them in for rewards, you can do this within the Gala Wildlife Rewards tab. Simply click on the tab labelled 'Redeem Feathers'. This will open a page which lists the rewards stated above. From here, once you have earned enough feathers to redeem them, you can select which reward you would like to redeem by clicking on the button labelled 'redeem' next to the reward. This reward can either be used on the next order you place with us or can be saved for another order in the future.

Please note once a reward has been redeem, you have 180 days in which to use this reward. Failure to apply this reward to an order within this time will result in the reward expiring.

So, you have redeemed a reward and wish to use it with your next order. There are two ways to go about applying a reward to your order.

Redeeming and applying a reward immediately - The most popular way to apply a reward to an order is to redeem the reward once you're ready to place an order on our website. If you have followed the steps highlighted above about 'redeeming the feathers you've earned' you should now have a page with a code in the centre of it, this is the code for your reward. To use the code now, click the button at the bottom of the page labelled 'Apply Now'. This will automatically apply the discount code to the order once you're at the checkout stage. That's it you've successfully applied the reward to your order.

Applying a reward you've already redeemed in the past, or a reward from our VIP tiers - In the past you may have redeemed a reward but didn't apply it to an order at that time. To apply rewards redeemed at a previous time you must click on the tab labelled 'My Rewards'. Within this tab you will find all the rewards you have previously redeemed but not yet used. (Please note any VIP tier rewards you may have earned will also be found in this tab and ready to be used). To apply these rewards to your order simply click on the button labelled 'Use Now' next to the reward you wish to apply. This will automatically apply this reward to your order. Once you go to the checkout stage of our website you will see the discount reward has been applied. 

Important notice - Only one reward code can be used per order. Discount codes are not stackable, for example, you cannot apply two separate £5 off discount codes to the same order to receive £10 off.

Important notice - Please be sure you intend to spend the minimum order value to receive the discount value of each reward. For example, our £5 off your order reward come with a minimum order value of £30 (before discount is applied). If your order does not reach this minimum order value then the discount code will not automatically apply.

At times you may wish to view how you've earned feathers and where you've spent feathers. This can easily be viewed in the 'My Balance' tab within the Gala Wildlife Rewards tab. Scroll down to 'My Balance' and click on it to enter the page. Here you will see all the history of you feathers balance indicating the actions which have resulted in you gaining or losing feathers, the amount you gained or lost during that action and the date in which it occurred. 

Our referral program is an excellent way of gaining extra feathers fast. Our referral program lets you refer a friend you think will love our products but isn't yet a customer of ours. If they go on to create an account and place an order on our website both you and your friend will receive a huge 500 feathers each (equivalent to £50 spent on our website), which you can put towards your next reward. It's a great scheme which rewards everyone, and we are so thankful to all who refer friends to our business. 

To refer a friend, go to the Gala Wildlife Rewards tab and select the 'Referral Program' button. Here you will see the rewards each of you will receive for completing this task. To start, click on the 'Refer A Friend Now' button at the bottom of the page. You will then see a link to our website. This link can be copied and sent to your friend via text, Facebook, email or any other messaging app. Your friend must then click on the link to take them to our website. Once there, the first thing they should do is create an account to add them to the rewards program. Then, if they wish, they can place an order with us. Doing so will automatically reward them with 500 feathers as well as rewarding you with 500 feathers also. Please note the friend must complete the order using the link provided and not exit and return to our website without using the link or this will result in the referral not being activated. They must also create an account on our website before placing the order or we will not be able to track their order to your referral.

Our VIP tiers is my favourite part of the rewards program. This is a way of us giving extra rewards to those customers who often place orders on our website or purchase bulk orders at a time. The more you spend on our website the higher VIP tier you'll become, rewarding you with extra free rewards and extra feathers earned from each pound spent on our website. Let me run you through the current tiers we have set up.

Welcome tier - This is the tier we all start off on once we join the Gala Wildlife Rewards program. There are no extra gifts or feather multipliers on this tier.

Bronze tier - Once you have, in any way, earned 1000 feathers (spent or unspent) through our rewards program you will be part of the bronze tier customers. By this point you should have placed a few orders with us, or at least one bulk order with us showing us you are a great customer of ours and a customer we should reward. Upon entering this tier, you will receive an email welcoming you to the bronze tier and informing you of a reward you've received for getting to this tier. Most importantly now you are part of the bronze tier you will now receive an extra 10% feathers on any orders you place in the future. For example, if you now place an order worth £50, you will receive 550 feathers rather than the original 500 you would have before.

Silver tier - Once you have earned 5000 feathers (spent or unspent) through our rewards program you will be part of the silver tier customers. If you have reached this tier, you are a special customer of ours who has shown your loyalty to our business and I imagine must have a garden fun of wildlife which you cater for extremely well! That dedication to your garden's wildlife must be rewarded handsomely. Upon entering this tier, you will again receive an email welcoming you to the silver tier and informing you of a reward you've received for getting to this tier. Again, most importantly, you will receive a boost in feathers earned for any future orders. Now you will receive an extra 20% feather on any orders making discounts more regular. For example, if you now place an order worth £50, you will receive 600 feathers rather than the original 500 you would on welcome tier. 

Gold tier - Once you have earned 10000 feathers (spent or unspent) through our rewards program you will be part of the gold tier customers. This is our top tier for our VIP customers. If you reach this tier, may I please say "thank you" for being an amazing supporter of our family business and more importantly for looking after your vast array of garden wildlife to the very best! Your garden must be alive with wildlife, and I and many others envy the entertainment you must get for attracting such numbers to your garden. On this tier we will reward you to our very best! Upon entering this tier, you will again receive an email welcoming you to the gold tier and congratulating you by gifting an extra special free gift. Being on the gold tier offers you the maximum boost you can have on feathers earned; you will now receive an extra 30% feathers on any future orders helping to make discounts a regular occurrence. For example, if you now place an order worth £50, you will now receive 650 feathers rather than the original 500 you would on welcome tier.

It is important to note that our VIP tiers refresh at the end of each year. So be sure to make the most of your boosted feather multipliers before the end of the year because come January everyone will return to Welcome tier once more.

Your free rewards from entering a new tier will appear in your 'My Rewards' tab on the Gala Wildlife Rewards tab. You can redeem them on your next order just like any other reward you've redeemed previously.

Please note that all tier rewards come with a 180 day expiry date. So please redeem your reward within this time of receiving it, otherwise it will be unable to be claimed.
